General Care Instructions

 General Care Instructions

Please use only a damp towel to spot clean hard and woven surfaces.

Do not use any type of cleaner that contains harsh chemicals as this may damage the finish. Please be sure to use a coaster or trivet (if applicable) under hot or cold items to protect the finish of each product. If moisture touches a surface, wipe off immediately.

Please place all products away from extreme heat and direct sunlight.

Dust frequently with a soft, clean cotton cloth. Wipe up dust using gentle, oval motions along the grain of the wood. Avoid frequent and sudden changes in humidity, direct sunlight, and chemical exposure.

Wood Cracking / Splitting:

1. Please understand that our products are made from natural and real wood. This means
that our pieces could potentially crack, shrink, or bow in certain areas over time. This is
not necessarily typical or common. However, as with all real wood pieces, it is a
possibility. We take every precaution to prevent this when building as best we can.
Having said that, it is impossible to guarantee this won't happen as wood is an organic
material and is influenced by the environment.

2. We want to make it very clear that the potential is always there. We believe that a big
part of what makes rustic furniture beautiful lies with each piece's own unique variances
and imperfections, which can include cracks, knots, bowing, and gaps. Also, different
batches of wood, (which come from different trees) will vary in how it accepts stain. This
means that even though we may use the same stain as another piece, it may not come
out the same color wise. In fact, it won't! No finished piece is ever an exact replica of
another, and that is the beauty of it!

• Termite, Insects and color tone

affected areas with suitable repellent chemicals to help minimize the risk of any further
issues. Having taken all reasonable steps to avoid this such issues, we cannot be held
liable for any related damage caused nor will refund / exchange / repair such products

3. Also, we cannot offer or guarantee any uniformity of tone or color throughout the wood
in our products. Each product is unique and within it there maybe variation of color and
depth of polish tones. It is the character of this timber and not a defect. If you are not
prepared to accept the variety of colors and grains found in our products, you should
consider buying a different product.
